The Road Runner 5K was a success again this year, with 50 finishers. Zach Kimberling won this race despite being knocked down by a dog at the 2 1/2 mile mark. He got up to still to take first, and after receiving his award, he was ushered off to the doctor's office to get stitches in his elbow. As a freshman at North Cedar, Zach ran his first 5k time trial in over 33 minutes. He now runs cross country and track at Washington University in St. Louis and as you can see, he has improved.
